What is EFT?
The Emotional Freedom Techniques reduce and eliminate fears, anxiety, stress, traumas, pains and so much more sometimes in a matter minutes. Many people use EFT for resolving the daily emotional upsets we all experience as well as treating a few physical ailments but that barely touches the limits of what EFT can accomplish.
Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, this system of lightly tapping on certain readily accessed acupuncture points is noted for its speed and its effectiveness. The fact that it’s easy to learn makes it even more appealing. Knowing the basics of EFT can change your life in ways you’ve only dreamed.
The revolutionary concept of tapping, discovered by accident about thirty years ago by Dr. Roger Callahan, made much of conventional talk therapy obsolete. Psychotherapists spent thousands of dollars for a weekend class teaching them Callahan’s method, Thought Field Therapy, where they learned how to tap away their patients’ problems. Perhaps the most famous student of Callahan’s was not a therapist. Gary Craig is a Stanford trained engineer who streamlined Callahan’s technique. Craig made it easier to learn and more accessible to the masses. He called his tapping method the Emotional Freedom Technique.
EFT requires no belief or belief changes on your part. It works on skeptics and believers alike. In fact, nearly every person I’ve taught EFT to started out as a skeptic.
EFT also requires no years on a therapist’s couch to get results. You don’t have to figure out why something bothers you. If you can feel it, you can eliminate it quickly.
I’ve engaged in all sorts of self-improvement, self-help, new age and metaphysical studies for decades. Discovering EFT was a major milestone for me.
